Join our community of South Australians advocating for a LGBTIQA+ healthy, safe and inclusive South Australia.

Becoming a SA Rainbow Advocacy Alliance member allows you to:

connect with a community of like minded LGBTIQA+ South Australians
take meaningful action to have a positive impact for LGBTIQA+ South Australians
shape our policy and advocacy work
keep up to date with the latest research issues of
concern for LGBTIQA+ South Australians
get access to SARAA’s member only events
show support for SARAA’s work
stand for election to be on our Board (individual members only)
vote to elect our Board (except Associate members)
show support for LGBTIQA+ South Australians.

We know that our advocacy is more powerful when it’s fuelled by your stories. Becoming a SA Rainbow Advocacy Alliance member gives you a say in decisions about LGBTIQA+ rights and strengthens our ability to be a powerful voice for LGBTIQA+ South Australians.

Individual membership

Individual membership is for people who support the vision and values of SA Rainbow Advocacy Alliance.

Individual membership is based on a pay what you can model – we recommend $30 per year.

Individual members have the following rights under our Constitution:

to receive notices of and attend any general meeting of SARAA
to be heard at any general meeting of SARAA
to vote at any general meeting of SARAA
to stand for election to the Board.

Organisation membership

Organisation membership is for not-for-profit organisations or community groups who:

support the vision and values of SA Rainbow Advocacy Alliance
actively work to promote the health, safety, inclusion and wellbeing of LGBTIQA+ South Australians.

Organisation members have the following rights under our Constitution:

to receive notices of and attend any general meeting of SARAA
to be heard at any general meeting of SARAA
to vote at any general meeting of SARAA.

Fees are based on your organisation’s overall revenue.

Associate membership

Associate membership is for organisations who support the vision and values of SA Rainbow Advocacy Alliance and are any of the below:

a not-for-profit organisations
a for-profit organisations
a Government body
a local council.

Associated members have the right to receive notices of and attend any general meeting of SARAA.

Associate members do not have the right to vote at any general meeting of SARAA.

Fees are based on your organisation’s overall revenue.

Fees for organisation and associate membership

Fees are based on your organisation’s overall revenue.

In 2024/25 the membership fees are :

$10 for organisations with less than $10,000 per year
$20 for organisations with less than $20,000 per year
$50 for organisations with less than $100,000 per year
$100 for organisations with less than $200,000 per year
$250 for organisations with less than $500,000 per year
$300 for organisations with less than $1,000,000 per year
$500 for organisations with more than $1,000,000 per year

Membership of SA Rainbow Advocacy Alliance does not constitute endorsement or recommendation by SARAA.

Associate members are not-for-profit organisations, businesses, Government bodies and local councils who support the vision and values of SA Rainbow Advocacy Alliance. Membership of SA Rainbow Advocacy Alliance does not constitute endorsement or recommendation by SARAA.
