GiveOUT is Australia's national day of giving to LGBTQIA+ charities, not-for-profits and community projects.
Thanks to your generous support this GiveOUT Day we raised over $35,000 for South Australian LGBTIQA+ initiatives making this our biggest fundraising year ever!
This includes:
- $6,130 to help achieve equality for LGBTIQA+ South Australians through SARAA
- $6,400 to celebrate blak and queer excellence at Nungay Night
- $4,440 to support to local queer South Australian artists through Feast Festival
- $4,130 to provide a voice for LGBTI+ people over 50 through Rainbow Hub SA
- $4,000 to host the annual Southern Pride March
- $2,910 to provide chest binders to trans and gender diverse South Australians via TransMasc SA
- $1,700 for peer support and counselling through Bfriend
- $5,565 to create inclusive safe spaces at AFL through Rainbow Crows and Port Adelaide Queer Squad.
We were blown away at your willingness to give back to LGBTIQA+ communities and were humbled and honoured to receive your support.
Nationally, GiveOUT raised $470,000 for 121+ LGBTIQA+ organisations across Australia. This means LGBTIQA+ organisations like SARAA can create a real and lasting impact, supporting our communities to thrive.
