Conversion Practices Legislation Passes Lower House

The Conversion Practices Bill was passed through the Lower House yesterday and will be brought to the Upper House in a fortnight.

Thanks to the Deputy Premier, The Hon Susan Close for an emotional heartfelt introduction to the bill, followed by supportive meaningful words from Katrine Hildyard MP, Lucy Hood MP, and Nat Cook MP. Thank you to all the MP’s who supported the bill including Labor MPs and Liberal MP’s @Hon David Pisoni MP and Jack Batty MP – Member for Bragg. Thanks to Tammy Franks Greens MLC office that organised a last minute briefing to parliamentarians today to discuss the legislation, the gaps and it’s implications. Lastly thanks to all the people and organisations that have supported this journey so far.
