The Hon Robert Simms MLC has called on the Government to progress it’s commitment to ensure conversion practices do not occur in South Australia.
Noting the federal government’s failure to properly count LGBTI Australians in the Census, Simms queried whether “the Malinauskas government’s lack of action on conversion practices is just another broken Labor promise”.
Attorney-General The Hon. Kyam Maher confirmed that work continues and an update will be provided when there has been further consideration.
