The SA government has just announced it will introduce a bill banning conversion practices.
Survivors have fought long and hard for this reform, which goes some way towards protecting LGBTQA+ people from practices that seek to change who they are and who they love.
Equality Australia CEO Anna Brown joined survivors and local advocates including SARAA Chair Leeann in Adelaide today to welcome the Bill, while cautioning that more needs to be done to ensure people are properly protected.
